NTSC – National Talent Scholarship Contest 2026 (Class 6 to 10)
A national two-stage scholarship exam for Classes VI–X that combines academic benchmarking, mental ability testing and a recurring monthly scholarship — by MyExams.Ai.
What is NTSC (National Talent Scholarship Contest)?
NTSC — the National Talent Scholarship Contest by MyExams.Ai — is a national-level, two-stage scholarship examination designed for students in Classes 6 to 10. It tests students across Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Mental Ability, then rewards top performers with a recurring monthly scholarship, national topper cash prizes and certificates.
NTSC was created to fill a gap in the Indian school exam ecosystem: the original NTSE scholarship for junior students is no longer conducted as a running national cycle. NTSC responds to that gap with a wider Class 6–10 scholarship pathway that combines academic benchmarking, national comparison, performance analytics and ongoing scholarship support in a single programme.

NTSC vs NTSE, ISTSE, Tallentex & Other Scholarship Exams
Here is how NTSC compares with other national scholarship and talent-search exams for school students:
| Exam | Target Class | Main Focus | Reward Model | How NTSC Compares |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NTSE (Historical) | Class 10 | Government talent identification | Monthly scholarship | Government model; not running in a current cycle |
| NMMSS | Class 8 onward | Government merit + economic eligibility | ₹12,000/year | Different purpose and eligibility criteria |
| PM YASASVI Scholarship | Class 9 & 11 | Govt. scheme for OBC/EBC/DNT students | Up to ₹1,25,000/year | Category-based government scheme, not an open academic contest |
| SOF Olympiads | Classes 1–12 | Subject Olympiads | Cash, medals, scholarships | Much larger scale; single-subject led |
| NSTSE | Classes 1–10 | Science + Maths assessment | Cash, medals, reports | NTSC offers a broader, four-subject mix |
| ISTSE | Classes 1–10 | Talent + scholarship Olympiad | Up to ₹1,500/month | Closest private comparison to NTSC |
| TALLENTEX | Classes 5–10 | Talent + coaching scholarship | Cash + course scholarships | Strong coaching linkage; NTSC stays independent |
| PWNSAT | Classes 6–12 | Scholarship + coaching pathway | Cash + course scholarships | Broader age range, coaching-led |
| NTSC | Classes 6–10 | National benchmark + scholarship | ₹1,000/month (brochure) | Focused, independent school academic model |
Why Choose NTSC
- Focused Class 6–10 segment — a dedicated annual property rather than a broad, diluted exam
- Integrated four-subject assessment — Maths, Science, Social Science and Mental Ability together, for a wider academic profile than a single-subject Olympiad
- Two-stage pathway — Stage 1 builds scale, Stage 2 creates genuine national-level competition
- Recurring scholarship — a 12-month monthly scholarship creates sustained value, not a one-time prize
- Performance analytics — detailed reports give parents measurable insight into academic standing, supported by school and coaching-partner distribution
