NTA is set to release the JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip any moment now. The wait of approx. 14.5 lakh candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is almost over. The countdown begins for the first step in your final preparation phase, as it tells you exactly which city you will be heading to for your exam.
KSC Insight:Don’t confuse the city slip with your Admit Card! The city slip is only to help you plan your travel and stay in advance especially if your center is in a different city. The Admit Card, with other details like specific center address and shift timing, will follow 3 to 4 days before the scheduled exam day.

The National Testing Agency is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains)-2026 Session-1 at different Centres located in various cities throughout the country and 15 cities outside India as per following details:

The advance intimation for Allotment of Examination City has been hosted on the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE (Main)-2026 Session-1 (using the login credentials) from the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ on 08 January 2026 and go through the instructions contained therein.
The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for JEE (Mains) – 2026 Session 1. This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located, and not the centre details. The Admit Card of JEE (Mains) – 2026 Session-1 shall be issued later.
