About IIT Bombay:
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) is an autonomous technical university that has become a symbol of academic and technological excellence, the world over. IIT Bombay was established in 1958 with assistance from UNESCO and funding from the erstwhile Soviet Union. It was the second IIT in the country to be established after IIT Kharagpur.
